Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge Review (How I Lost 9.6 lbs & 1.5 Inches In 3 Weeks)
I want to share with you my Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge Review in the hope that it will also inspire you if you have weight gain issues just like me.
I lost 9.6 lbs (4.35 kg) and 1.5 inches in 3 Weeks! And another 2.2 kg (4.8 lbs) and 1 inch of waistline in another 3 weeks!
All in all, I lost a total of 5.8 kg (12.8 lbs) and 3 inches of waistline in 6 weeks!
I am still over the cloud right now with this weight loss because all my life, I believe that I am already a hopeless case when it comes to weight loss! But I was so wrong!
I gained a total of 10 kg (22 lbs) after 2 successive pregnancies. And I came to the point of not being comfortable about my weight anymore.
And it doesn’t help that the app on my phone connected to the newly bought digital scale that is recording my weight says: OVERWEIGHT in red color!
It’s like giving me a signal that I am in danger and that I have to do something about it…..fast!
What Is Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge?

Revised Diet Plan – This is a detailed ebook that will guide you on what you can eat from day1 to day21, with food examples. This also contains lists of approved and unapproved foods.
Main Guide – This guide explains in detail all things related to weight loss such as myths about weight loss, why people get fat, basic nutrition, rapid weight loss, and a lot more. I learned a lot of things from reading this main guide.
Motivation Guide – A guide to help succeed in your weight loss journey, especially during days that you feel like giving up.

I was not able to do the suggested exercises because I was busy chasing my small kids, and wasn’t able to walk everyday neither, but I still lose weight. Proof that the challenge is really legit!
Healing Leaky Gut – An ebook full of valuable information about leaky gut and how to heal it.

Aside from the 10 downloadable materials, there are also available video lessons that you can watch on their platform.
These are visual and audio counterparts of the written guides, especially good for those who prefer watching videos than reading.

It is a support group where you can ask anything related to the program or post about your struggles, and other members and the makers of the program themselves are always ready to answer you or lift you up.
Foods That You Can And Can’t Eat During the 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge
There is a list of foods included in the diet plan.
Some of the approved foods are beef, chicken, fish, egg, shrimp, and almost all kinds of vegetables.
Despite the food restriction, there is still a lot of foods that you can eat during the 21-day challenge.
Foods That You Can’t Eat During the Fat Loss Challenge
Carbs and sugar are restricted during the 21 days.
But in the middle of the challenge, you will start reintroducing carbs into your diet (following the approved list), but no fruits or any kind of sugar during the challenge.
But don’t worry because this set-up is only temporary, to give your body the needed detox.
All types of nuts are prohibited during the challenge.
How I Found Out About Avocadu 21-Day Challenge?
I was googling successful affiliate marketing blogs one day. An article listed several sites and one of the bloggers featured were Alex and Lauren. It says on the description that they built a health blog first, Avocadu, before they started their 2nd blog.
So, I clicked and it’s where I found the 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge. I was thinking about it for like 2 to 3 nights before I finally decided to buy it.
Why Did I Decide To Do The Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge?
I was 54 kg. (119 lbs) before I got married in December 2016 in the Philippines. I was way heavier before, but I was dieting like crazy to be slimmer on my wedding day. 🙂
When we returned to Spain after about 2 months, I was already weighing 58 kg (127.8 lbs).!
I gave birth in 2017 and 2019 and breastfeeding. Breastfeeding makes me super hungry!
Even my husband commented that I was eating a lot, way more than his food portion. But everytime he makes a comment, I get mad!
I made breastfeeding an excuse to eat a LOT!
Then just this lately, I came across a homily of Fr. Dave (a Filipino priest who uploads his homily of the day on youtube) where he talked about gluttony and something about when we ask for something from God, we also have to do our part.
And in that instant what came to mind was my health. I always pray to God that He gives my husband and I good health and long life, so we can take care of the kids that he entrusted to us for a long time. But am I doing my part?
The answer was a clear NO! I eat a LOT and I exercise very little to none.

The Final Push
After 2 or 3 days, I came across avocadu and its 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge.
I felt like God is really telling me something about making an action about my health and weight gain.
My husband gifted me a watch fit and a digital scale (things I wanted to have before) for valentine’s day.
The day the items arrived (few days after valentine’s), I immediately unpacked the package and set the digital scale up.
I weighed myself right away and the displayed result was a clear warning sign for me.
The scale reads 65.3 kg. (143.9 lbs) and on the health app, there was a red word under my weight that says: OVERWEIGHT!
This was the final push that made me decide to really do the 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge.
On Body Positivity
Please don’t get me wrong here. I am all for image positivity and definitely support NO body shaming because I know that there are a lot of factors contributing to weight gain, like illness, stress, genetics, sleep, etc, especially for moms like me.
I don’t have anything against huge women because it’s really the inside that matters most.
I am definitely ok to look huge as long as I am not overweight. But if it comes with health risks, then it’s a completely different story.
Excess Weight Health Risks
The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDKD) stated that excess weight may increase the risk for many health problems, including:
- type 2 diabetes
- high blood pressure
- heart disease and strokes
- certain types of cancer
- sleep apnea
- osteoarthritis
- fatty liver disease
- kidney disease
- pregnancy problems, such as high blood sugar during pregnancy,
high blood pressure, and increased risk for cesarean delivery
(C-section)
I am supposed to be one of those people who should be taking extra care of my health because I am diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B since 2004. I am prone to liver cirrhosis.
But of course, you don’t think about these things seriously when you are still younger and single.
Now that I have a family of my own and almost 40, my perspective has definitely changed.
Pros And Cons Of Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge
Here are the pros and cons of the challenge:
PROS OF AVOCADU DIET:
1. It really works! This is the most important pro there is in this program. The claim that you will lose 10-20 lbs in 21 days is not fake at all.
2. It’s Affordable! This is another major con about the challenge because it’s not going to break the bank, unlike other weight loss programs I saw before.
The weight loss challenge is originally priced at 47$, but I got mine cheaper because they were running a sale when I availed it. I got it for 32$.
Wayyyyy cheaper than a weight loss program that I saw weeks ago that was priced at 297$!
This is the best and cheapest investment I have spent for my personal development for 2021, so far.
With all the materials that you are going to receive, the price is really very generous and affordable.
3. Your body will be detoxed from carbs and sugars. 2 main things that make you gain weight fast, especially if you have a sedentary lifestyle like me.
4. You will learn more about healthy eating and realize a lot of things that you’ve been doing wrong when it comes to eating. The 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge is really an eye-opener to me. I learned that carbohydrates and sugars are 2 major culprits for weight gain.
Of course, I already heard this before, but I was always negative about it with an argument that I grew up eating white rice 3x a day and I knew a lot of people who lived for so long while eating 3x a day.
I also realized that my portion size before was WAYYYYY TOO BIG than the normal portion, it’s actually 2-4 times bigger. WHOAAA!
5. It will teach you self-control and self-discipline. For the longest time, I really thought that I don’t have self-control and self-discipline when it comes to food because it’s already my nature to EAT A LOT!
When I was still single, I was known to be the “finisher of leftovers”. In the apartment where I lived with my friends, everytime we have prepared way too much food, the line was always: don’t worry, Julai is here! I had that reputation among my circle of friends and I took it as a privilege! WHOAA!
6. You don’t have to exercise like crazy! This challenge will require you to walk 30 minutes everyday and for 8 days within the 21 days, there is an exercise schedule that you are encouraged to do, but not obligatory.
I still shed off the 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs) in 3 weeks, with minimal exercise. I walked outside with my kids a few times and used the stationary bicycle once.
And I never had the chance to do the suggested exercises because the husband was very busy at work. He can’t babysit the kids so I can exercise.
The program is adjustable for breastfeeding moms like me.
There’s an instruction on how to go about the challenge when you are breastfeeding.
I skipped the first 2 days to avoid the decrease in milk supply, so I completed the challenge in 19 days instead of the usual 21 days.
My milk supply was not affected. My 15-month-old is still nursing 1-2 times during the day, and 3-4 times during the night (hello sleep!).
CONS OF AVOCADU DIET:
1. You will feel weak and dizzy in the first few days. But the manual has clearly stated that it’s normal, especially if you are a huge carb and sugar eater since the body is in detox.
I had a major headache on Day 6 that I really had to take a nap on the sofa.
My husband was already saying that I had to stop the diet and I was already agreeing to him. But after eating, I felt good again. I went to bed and woke up refreshed!
I think it was only because I ate super late than the normal schedule because I went to the grocery and came home late.
2. You have to drink a LOT of water. This is not very bothersome for me because I am a huge water drinker.
I wake up in the middle of the night 2-3 times just to drink water every single night!
But despite being a water drinker, I still have to drink even more than the usual that I consume.
My Measurements Before Doing The Challenge
I was 65 kg (143 lbs) before I started round 1 of the 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge.
My waistline (around the belly button, per instruction of the guide) was 37.5 inches (95.25 cm).
According to the Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator, my height (5 ft 1″) should have a weight ranging from 100 – 127 lbs. (44.4 – 59.8 kg) with a BMI ranging from 18.5 – 24.9.
But I was ranging from 64-65 kg and my BMI was 26.6 – 27.1. Overweight indeed!
My goal is to be within the 56 – 58 kg ((123 – 128 lbs) range to be within my healthy weight range according to my age and height.
Maybe you think that I am OA for being alarmed after gaining 10 kg because there are a lot of people who are overweight more than 10 kg.
But I want to act now than be sorry later. I want to act now while 10 kg (20 lbs) is still easier to get rid of than waiting until I gain 20 or 30 kg (20 or 66 lbs) before doing anything.
This is the part that I want to do to compliment my prayer of good health and long life. I shall do my best, and God will do the rest.
Round 1 Result
As mentioned earlier, I lost a total of 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs), and 1.5 inches along my waistline after doing round 1 of the 21-Day fat loss challenge.
After round 1, my measurements were: 133.4 lbs (60.5 kg) and 35.5 inches (90 cm) for my waistline.
All my pants now are loose! A good problem, though. 🙂
I did round 1 from February 17 until March 7 of 2021. Only a total of 19 days because I started on Day 3 as suggested in the manual for breastfeeding mothers to make sure that milk supply will not be affected.
Rest Days Before Doing Round 2
Even before I started round 1, I was already thinking of doing 2 rounds of the challenge, so I won’t be pressured to lose all the extra weight at once.
That is why I started the challenge during the lenten season to go along with the tradition of abstinence and fasting.
I made 4 days of rest days before finally starting round 2 and calculated that it will be done before April 1, the 70th birthday of my MIL.
So, I can enjoy the gathering without thinking about food restrictions.
During the 4 rest days (from March 8 to March 11), I was still trying to eat according to the challenge guidelines.
But there were days that I consumed foods that were unapproved like pork, a vegetable puree with potatoes, and yogurt with kiwi for dessert.
Round 2 Result
I was weighing 61.3 kg (135 lbs) when I started round 2, which means that I gained 0.8 kg of weight during the 4 days of rest. That’s the rate of how fast I gain weight!
So, I weighed 61.3 kg with a waistline of 35.5 inches in the start of round 2.
Round 2 was from March 12 until March 30 of 2021.
Then after 19 days, I was already weighing 59.1 kg (130 lbs) with a waistline of 34.5 inches (87.6 cm).
I lost a total of 2.2 kg (4.8 lbs) and 1 inch of waistline in round 2.
I didn’t achieve my desired weight of 58 kg, but I am already very happy with the result of round 2 because my weight is already within the healthy range.
Just like round 1, I was not able to make the suggested exercises. Though I was able to make more walking and indoor biking in the 2nd round compared to round 1.
With 2 small kids to take care of and a household to run, all plans can change in a snap.:)
I need to find a way to incorporate an exercise schedule into my day. Another goal!
Round 1 And Round 2 Of Avocadu Diet Overall Result
So, all in all, I lost a total of 5.8 kg (12.8 lbs) and 3 inches of waistline after 2 rounds of doing the 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge!
It may seem a small improvement to others, but it’s already a huge one for me!
The Things I learned From The Fat Loss Challenge
The Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge is really an eye-opener to me! I learned so many things, not only about healthy eating and related stuff but also about my strength.
I underestimated myself. All my life, I thought that I am not capable of self-control and self-discipline when it comes to food!
I always believe that I will get old huge because it’s in my genes since my father was a huge man and I got my body structure from him.
But the challenge has proven my own belief about myself WRONG!
Even if I was decided to try the challenge, at the back of my mind was doubt that I can’t really make it.
My husband felt the same because of his experience of me getting mad everytime he told me that I eat way too much.
During the 19 days, I was able to restrict myself from carbs and sugar, and in the days that it says I can consume carbs, I decided not to because I observed that I easily gain weight after consuming carbs.
That we are eating fairly healthy, but our portion is WAYYY HUGE! – My husband has already told me this many times, but I refuse to believe him.
But after making the challenge, I realized that he’s really correct.
Truly experience is the best teacher. I didn’t believe it until I experienced it firsthand.
Carbs and Sugars are really the main reason for my weight gain. Even if I already heard this before, but experiencing and understanding it closely is completely different.
I have been recording my food intake and my weight everyday and I observed that on days that I eat approved carbs, my weight increases the following day.
Now I know that carbs (and surely sugar, too) are what’s making me gain weight fast.
Notes From Doing The Challenge
Round 1 was definitely difficult, especially in the first few days due to headaches and the feeling of being weak.
But round 2 was easy! I didn’t experience any headaches and feelings of weakness. My body was getting used to the new eating habits.
It’s really true that it takes 21 days to build a new habit. The challenge is actually built with this phrase in mind (the manual explains this in detail).
What’s Next After The Challenge?
Thank God I am already done with Round 1 and Round 2 of the 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge.
It feels so good to be 5.8 kg lighter with a 3-inch less waistline!
I will try my best to incorporate walking for at least 30 minutes everyday and doing the exercises in the manual and stick to the new approved and unapproved food lists of the After The Challenge manual, as much as possible.
But one thing is for sure: I will do my best not to go back to my old eating habits anymore.
I will do my best to maintain my new weight through healthy eating with real food, being more mindful about the portion sizes of foods that I will be eating.
And there’s another goal now: to grow muscles! This is going to be exciting!
Final Thoughts On Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge Review
The Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge is really legit! I am one of the proofs that it really works.
I am promoting this not because of the commission, but because I believe in this product and I want to help other moms (and not yet moms) who have the same weight gain issue as me.
Don’t be afraid to try it. The only thing you’ll lose when doing the challenge is your excess weight.:)
A word of caution though, before starting this challenge or any other diet, make sure that it is safe for you, especially if you have a medical condition. Consult your doctor before doing anything health-related.

I am amazed and you have proofs of what you have just shared.
My son is too stout, losing and gaining back his weight on daily check. You are right, discipline must be imposed and one has to be consistent.
And I like the way you have introduced Avocadu 21- Day Fat Loss Challenge in this article. Aside from your self proofs, which I were looking for at the top portion of your post, the tools looks impressive. The challenger would have a grasp of how the pathway he would take would look like.
I am have shared your post to my son hoping he would take the challenge!
Hello Rose,
thank you for dropping by. Let me know the results of ever your son decides to try the challenge.
I must say I haven’t heard of this one until I came across this article, and it does look simple, healthy, and easy to use. I think when it comes to weight loss it is really getting your mindset right first, then commit to something and in the process try and build healthy habits that you can use in the future to maintain your weight loss.
I know so many people who are forever following some diet or another, because when they stop they put all the weight back on again. A diet plant that teaches healthy lifestyle habits is to me the best long-term plan.
Hello Michel,
Thank you for dropping by. I agree with what you say about “forever diet” and I definitely don’t want to be forever dieting because I feel like it’s stressful. Building healthy habits is definitely the way to go.
This font on this is strangely hard to follow and kind of makes it hard to read. I’m not sure how to explain why, other than that it sounds interesting. I love avocado’s and try to limit myself to one a day since they are high in fat content. I’ll have to come back to this and check it out more thoroughly.
Hello Dash!
Avocadu is the name of the program, but not avocado. and this program is not about eating avocado for 21 days.:)
For me, I never experienced weight gain until I was in my 40’s. Albeit I gained a little, all I had to do is go back to exercising and I lost it all again. My wife on the other hand started gaining in her 40’s as well but it was not as easy to lose for her. That is until she decided to remove sugar and carbs from her diet. Sugar is the worse of all evils. Carbs just make you gain weight especially with all the processed foods out there.
Thanks for sharing it’s good to hear an honest opinion from others concerning how they deal with weight loss.
Hello Rick,
I agree that sugar and carbs are the 2 main food source that make me gain weight fast and I learned it from the program.
I am happy that your wife has finally found out the culprits of her weight gain!
Hmm, this is a product I have not heard about before, but it’s encouraging to read that you have had such good results and success from it. Thanks for sharing the details about how the plan works, so that expectations are clearly set in advance. I am recovering from a broken bone, so I’m wondering if the 8 days of exercises might be a deal-breaker for me and this program right now.
Congrats on all your success!
Hello Aly,
thank you for dropping by. You can still do the program without doing the exercises, because it might not be good while recovering from a broken bone. But a lot of people who already tried the program still lose weight even without doing the exercises. I am one proof.:)
I am in! The Winter is behind, and with all the restrictions I gained lots of kilograms I truly didn’t need in my life. I am more or less about 10 kilograms away from my healthy weight. And I have been trying to lose for months now and still nothing. So I will get into your Avocadu 21-day fat loss challenge and will let you know how it goes! Thanks for this!
Hello Sunny! I think everyone gained weight due to the restrictions of the pandemic. I am excited for you, let me know the results once you are done.:)
Thank you for warning us that we will feel weak and dizzy in the first few days. I also drink a lot of water, so it won’t be a problem for me either. I am happy to read that the person that created the diet is really interested in helping. The price is also very affordable. Thank you for suggesting the Avocadu 21-Day Fat Loss Challenge.
You’re welcome Paolo!
I’m glad that you included some of the negative effects you felt during the beginning. Some people will experience similar symptoms like fatigue and headaches from the sugar withdrawals and then quit because they think the diet is making them sick. So it’s best to know beforehand what to expect. It’s totally normal for the body to have these symptoms and they pass.
When I quit sugar I had amazing results as well. I couldn’t believe how much better my skin looked after just a few weeks! Congratulations on your weight loss! It’s important to eat well and stay healthy and eat proper portions. This diet plan sounds very interesting and I may give it a try.
Thank you Nicole!
Yes I agree with the negative effects and I think the degree depends on how much of a sugar or carb eater you are. I am really happy with this weight loss and on to the next goal of how to maintain it.
This is a very comprehensive guide to the avocados diet. The fact that you have actually done it successfully means that people reading this will have the confidence to give it a go also.
But it will only work when they are serious about and have made a conscious and determined decision to loose weight. Otherwise they will be wasting their time. As they will dip in and out and stop and start and dismiss it as no good, when the problem is actually themselves.
So if you are serious about loosing weight, this is certainly one to try.
I agree with you Goeff about having the conscious and determined decision first before doing the challenge. When I was still single, I had tried dieting but for the reason to look good at a party, etc. Then after the event, I am back to my old eating habits.
But for this avocadu fat loss challenge, I already had the deep reason to start, so it’s probably the main reason why I sticked to it.
Well this is definitely a challenge that I would like my mom to try out as she has been telling me that she wants to lose some weight I want some quick and easy remedies to do so. This article will be very interesting her and I’m sure she will appreciate you sharing this with her as it is something that is very important to her
Definitely share it with your Mom Misael. There are a lot of women who already succeed with this challenge.
I love that you used your story to share about the challenge. Even though our bodies are different, it helps me map out space in my brain that this can work for me. I have tried a lot of diets and challenges but I have one problem, sleep. and not a lot of diet plans and challenges mention sleep and how it aids weight loss. I am still working on it but this helps my research and also encourages me to look more into it and how it can help me lose more weight. thank you and congrats on your challenge. Your kids are beautiful by the way!!!
Hello Chika, thank you so much. I am also struggling with sleep especially that I have been breastfeeding successively for about 4 years now. This challenge also mentions about sleep being important, but despite having a not so good sleeping schedule, the challenge still worked for me.
